Project Direction

Do you need an expert to oversee your project? Someone to co-ordinate your team and ensure your suppliers deliver what you've asked for? Someone to keep sight of the big picture?

Whether you're using multiple external agencies or an in-house team of specialists, HirschWorks can provide project direction to ensure they meet their brief.

Project direction is a very different role to that of project manager. It entails liasing between design, technical and any other specialist suppliers in order to facilitate communication and understanding between them and ensure the project's 'business vision' is adhered to.

Project direction requires a high-level awareness of issues relating to business, content, technology and design. It also benefits from an independent, external perspective. This helps prevent the overall creative vision and business objectives from being lost in the detail as day-to-day work gets underway. The project director needs to be someone who understands the nitty-gritty, but does not get bogged down by it.

The project director acts as a 'bridge' between clients and suppliers. Their job is to safeguard interests, manage expectations, prevent misunderstandings and ensure requirements are realistic. As independent consultants, HirschWorks is ideally placed to undertake this role on your behalf.
